Chin Liposuction
Enhance your jawline with expert care in Antalya.
What is Chin Liposuction?
Chin liposuction tailored to your unique facial contours.
How Does Chin Liposuction Work?
During Chin Lipo, the surgeon will insert a small tube called a cannula into different locations in the chin. The tube is moved back and forth to break down the fat and the loosened fat cells are extracted from the body. The cannula that is used is very fine, so only small incisions are needed, leaving minimal scarring.
As well as facial fat removal, double chin liposuction leaves the patient with a smoother, more defined, profile.
How popular is Chin Liposuction?
Chin Liposuction is an extremely popular facial liposuction treatment for both men and women, accounting for roughly 10% of all Liposuction procedures.
Liposuction of the chin is popular for different reasons. Whereas women are seeking a leaner profile, men generally hope to achieve a more chiseled, masculine shape. Fatty deposits in the chin are often an issue for men. Men benefit from a more simple and precise liposuction technique as their skin is thinner and not as elastic as in a woman.
Can I combine other procedures with Chin Lipo?

What to expect chin liposuction?
Chin Liposuction recovery
Most patients find that recovery following Chin Liposuction is reasonably straightforward. It is normal to experience some swelling and bruising during the first few days and you will have been provided with any painkillers you may need to reduce discomfort. After one week, you will come back to the clinic to see our specialist nurses, who will check your incisions and answer any questions you have. You will then see your surgeon six weeks after your Chin Lipo procedure to discuss your recovery and results.

What is the difference between Chin Liposuction and Chin Liposculpture?
When considering jawline liposuction, you may also come across a similar technique known as Chin Liposculpture. Whereas Liposuction simply extracts fat from the area, Chin Liposculpture focuses on enhancing facial contours and definition.
Although Chin Liposculpture also utilises Liposuction, it may be more suited to patients who are concerned about having a weak jawline, as well as excess fat around their lower face. In some cases, Chin Liposculpture may also involve Fat Transfer to reshape the jawline.
Your consultant will discuss all of the options with you during your consultation and will help you to decide between Chin Liposculpture and Chin Lipo.
Are Chin Liposuction and Jaw Liposuction different?
Although both procedures target concerns around the lower face, Chin Lipo and Jaw Lipo are slightly different. Jawline Lipo targets the entire jawline – from under the ears to the centre of the chin.
This is suited to patients who are concerned about excess fat around their entire lower face. Chin Liposuction targets the area directly under the chin, in the centre of the face. This specifically addresses the common concern of a double chin and won’t take fat from further up the jawline as well.
Both Chin Lipo and Jawline Liposuction result in a contoured and defined lower face, but the correct procedure will depend on your exact concerns and where the fat deposits are located in your face. Your surgeon will discuss both options with you, and will help you to decide Chin Liposuction and Jawline Lipo.
